Join us at our Meet Legacy Alliance Outreach community event as we share our vision for Modesto and Stanislaus County. Inspired by the remarkable work of Homeboy Industries and Father Greg Boyle, and as a proud partner of their mission, we are creating a haven of hope for those affected by poverty, violence, and marginalization. In the spirit of Father Greg’s approach, we believe in the power of healing and transformation through compassion, connection, and community.
Homeboy Industries began in 1986 when Father Greg saw beyond gang violence to recognize people who needed hope and opportunity. Today, it is the largest gang intervention, rehabilitation, and re-entry program in the world. Legacy Alliance Outreach, in partnership with Homeboy Industries, aspires to bring that same transformative impact to our region by providing supportive services, mentorship, and resources to help individuals rebuild their lives.
This event marks the beginning of our own origin story—a story of healing and restoration for Modesto and Stanislaus County. We invite you to join us in our circle of belonging and help us build a stronger, more inclusive community.
